Gender Focused
Mirror Lake Recovery Center recognizes the need for patients to develop supportive, same gender relationships in order to maximize continued recovery maintenance. Our treatment center’s daily schedule is designed to provide opportunities for each patient to practice building such relationships. From morning meditation until evening 10th step meetings, patients attend one-half of the treatment day in gender specific groups. Patients also attend group counseling separated by gender in order to create a comfortable atmosphere to discuss matters of personal nature.
Gender focused treatment creates an environment where patients are best able to focus on recovery needs while practicing healthy relationship building skills with same gender peers.

Mirror Lake Recovery Center is also offering a specialized treatment track for patients with opioid dependence. Within this track, patients will be offered Vivitrol after safely being detoxed under medical supervision. Vivitrol is an opiate blocker which helps to significantly reduce cravings. Vivitrol is also non-addictive.
