Chad D. Elkin M.D.
Medical Director
Chad D. Elkin M.D. joined the Mirror Lake Recovery team, in July of 2018, as our Medical Director. Dr Elkin comes to Mirror Lake with extensive experience in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr Elkin has also had the privilege of serving as the Chief Medical Officer of Trustpoint Hospital, an acute care medical and psychiatric facility. Dr Elkin has also served as a hospitalist.
Dr Elkin attended Wofford College and Mississippi College and received his BS in Biology. Dr Elkin then went to medical school at University of Mississippi receiving his medical degree (M.D.). Dr Elkin then did training at the University of South Alabama for Internal Medicine. Dr Elkin now specializes in addiction medicine.
Dr Elkin believes all people deserve a chance at a substance free life and what that future offers for themselves and their families.
