As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Mirror Lake Recovery Center to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Mirror Lake Recovery Center.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • We are offering visitation through telehealth services so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services are being vetted and may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided.
  • Patient care supplies such as masks and hand sanitizer are being monitored and utilized.
  • Temperature and symptom screening protocols are in place for all patients and staff.
  • Social distancing strategies have been implemented to ensure that patients and staff maintain proper distance from one another at all times.
  • Cleaning service contracts have been reviewed for additional support.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Admissions

At Mirror Lake Recovery Center, we understand that the decision to receive treatment to end an addiction can be a difficult choice to make, and we also recognize that some individuals may feel intimidated by the process of being admitted into a treatment center. For these reasons, we have made the admissions process at Mirror Lake as simple, comfortable, and streamlined as possible.

Requirements

Requirements for Admission to Mirror Lake

When an individual is ready to begin the journey of recovery, he or she can contact our center to discuss his or her treatment needs and learn about our admissions criteria. To be admitted to Mirror Lake, prospective clients must fit the following profile:

  • Must be age 18 or older
  • Have a history of substance abuse or chemical dependence, with or without a co-occurring mental health condition
  • Have a history of deteriorating interpersonal or occupational functioning, with disruption to one’s social and family life
  • Be able to participate in the structure of our programming
  • Be able to maintain activities of daily living in an environment that supports a recovering lifestyle

During the initial call to our center, prospective clients will speak with our helpful and compassionate admissions representatives, who can determine if the individual meets our criteria and then schedule an assessment for admission to Mirror Lake. Assessments, which take about 90 minutes to complete, can occur any time between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. During a client’s initial assessment, we will collect the following information to determine if Mirror Lake Recovery Center is the ideal treatment option:

  • Social history
  • Medical history
  • Substance use history
  • Treatment history

If Mirror Lake is deemed the perfect place for a man or woman to embark on the road toward a sober life, we will coordinate an admission to our center. Admissions at Mirror Lake can occur at any time of day, as we have staff available to welcome new clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If we determine that Mirror Lake is unable to meet the needs of a prospective client, we can provide him or her with referrals and additional resources that will help that individual locate an appropriate healthcare provider.
