After spending more than 25 years in the corporate technology sales arena with companies such as AT&T, AVAYA, and BlackBox Network Services, Tom transitioned into the behavioral healthcare field in 2017 as a business development professional. This career shift allowed him to combine his extensive sales and marketing expertise with his passion for addiction and mental health treatment, as well as long-term recovery.
In his various behavioral healthcare roles, Tom has led the launch of a start-up division focused on peer-support for an established Nashville-based organization and helped guide the business development efforts of a peer-support–centered company headquartered in Austin, TX. Over the years, he has served both as an individual contributor and as a team lead, consistently driving growth and fostering strong partnerships.
